Women Give 2013: New Research on Charitable Giving by Girls and Boys

This study provides compelling evidence that parents play an important role in preparing their children to become charitable adults. For both girls and boys, parents who talk to their children about giving significantly increase the likelihood that the child will give to charity. Produced by the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, supported through a partnership with the UN Foundation.
