This Lunch & Learn call was recorded on March 12, 2013.
Lunch & Learn Description: Teen philanthropy programs can gain a lot by integrating an immersion experience into their process. The Jewish Teen Foundations of the San Francisco Bay Area has been kicking off its annual program with a weekend-long retreat for the past eight years. Join Lom Friedman, JCF Director of Youth Philanthropy, and Sara Nesson, Marin/San Francisco's Jewish Teen Foundation Project Director to hear about the value of an immersion learning context, balancing program goals and activities, staff and teen roles, and possible adaptations for one and two-day retreat options.
