UJA-Federation of New York’s Teen Philanthropic Leadership Council (TPLC) is a foundation board experience using a youth-empowerment model to learn about and experience philanthropy through a Jewish lens. Over the course of six Sunday evenings, the council will gather to learn about philanthropy, the grant-making process, and our communal responsibility to the Jewish people. Participants will raise funds, select organizations within UJA-Federation’s network of agencies to focus on, and then allocate the thousands of dollars they raise collectively out to those organizations. Space on this exclusive council is limited. Council members are selected after applying online and completing an in-person interview.
