Teen Philanthropists Featured in The New York Times

Two Jewish teen philanthropists were featured in The New York Times article "Learning Young the Gift of Helping Others" by columnist Paul Sullivan.

Sammie Klainberg is the co-chair of the Jewish Teen Funders Committee of Temple Beth-El in Great Neck, a teen foundation created through JTFN's "Stepping Up" Long Island initiative in 2011. Scott Rubenstein is a member of the B'nai Tzedek Youth Philanthropy Program of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix, which launched its teen foundation in 2007 through JTFN's Pilot Incentive Grants program. Next year, Scott will serve on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Foundation.
