Summer 2016  Educator Trainings

JTFN recommends that each camp designate two primary staff to be involved in this program:

Administrator - This is a senior year-round camp professional who will oversee the implementation of this program. This can be the Camp Director, Assistant/Associate Director, Development Director, or Jewish Life Director.

Summer Educator - This is a summer staff member who will facilitate this program on the ground. This can be a Unit/Division Head, CIT Director, Program Director, or Education Specialist.  

All interested summer camps are encouraged to participate in one of the JTFN Summer Educator training opportunities (based on previous experience with Jewish teen philanthropy):

Webinar Training

This training is designed for summer educators who are new to Jewish teen philanthropy, and will take place using the internet and phone. Login information will be provided after registration. RSVP here

Camp Philanthropy for Experienced Summer Educators

Tuesday, June 7, 2016 - 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern
Videoconference Training
This training, designed for experienced camp philanthropy summer educators, will provide a forum for facilitated conversation among program leaders while they explore successes and challenges from previous summers, picking up new strategies along the way. This training will take place using Zoom videoconference (webcams are encouraged!) Login information will be provided after registration. RSVP here
